Restoring One’s Hope of Atlanta (ROHA)

Overview
Restoring One’s Hope of Atlanta Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity and supporting Atlanta’s unhoused and underserved communities. Founded in 2019 by Brittany Johnson, ROHA was created with a mission to restore hope to the hopeless through hunger relief and compassionate community support.

Since its founding, the organization has worked to meet immediate needs while also connecting individuals to resources that can help improve their quality of life. Through consistent outreach efforts, ROHA provides free meals, hygiene items, clothing, and other essential supplies to individuals experiencing hardship throughout the City of Atlanta. The organization also partners with local businesses, churches, and community organizations to host service events that provide access to food, wellness resources, and other supportive services.

What began as a monthly food distribution effort has grown into a weekly commitment to serving the community, demonstrating both the growing need and the organization’s dedication to expanding its reach. Through volunteer engagement and strong partnerships, ROHA continues to build a network of support that uplifts individuals and strengthens community care across Atlanta.
